Rwanda is known as Le Pays des Mille Collines (Land of a Thousand Hills) thanks to the endless mountains in this scenically stunning little country. Rwanda holidays will always feature four important aspects: people, culture, national parks and gorilla watching.

The highlight of a Rwandan safari is seeing the incredible mountain gorillas, on the slopes of the Virunga Volcanoes, just a few hours drive north of Kigali.
