Only a few countries in Africa can match Namibia's sheer natural beauty.

Evocative names - the Skeleton Coast, the Namib Desert, the Kalahari - describe otherworldly spaces, mainly comprised of sand seas, salt pans, desolate coastlines and bleak, rocky outcrops. Etosha National Park in northern Namibia is considered one of the premier wildlife reserves in all of Africa, a rugged landscape whose name means The Great White Place.

 

The Skeleton Coast, or "The Land God Made in Anger" as the Bushmen called it, remains one of the world’s last great wildernesses: harsh, still not completely explored, definitely untamed and extraordinarily beautiful.
